Question #1: Mitt Romney quote , I believe theres a hidden message, what does he mean?

“Because, let me tell you, having thirty million people in this country without health insurance and having those people show up when they get sick, and expect someone else to pay, that’s a Democratic approach. That’s the wrong way. The Republican approach is to say, ‘You know what? Everybody should have insurance. They should pay what they can afford to pay. If they need help, we will be there to help them, but no more free ride.”

"If they need help, we will be there to help them, but no more free ride.”
How are they going to help the poor people who can’t afford any health insurance at all without giving them a free ride?

what type of fallacy is this?

Question #2: Are Insure Pink a good car insurance company?

I have a Fiat 500c and am under 25, and got a quote for £1561 (this is including monthly fee interest) from an original annual price of £1370. This is pretty cheap compared to any others I have found and was wondering:

1. Do you find this a good quote?
2. Are Pink Insured good insurers?

I was a bit worried because although I did the quote ON their website, when it gave me a quote it was through Advantage Insurance Company, so I'm a little confused.

The quote does not include breakdown cover as I get that for free with the AA for 12 months.

Question #3: I need help to correct my english essay plz :)?

I have to write an essay about the fear I can have about a trip, could anyone correct it plz ? :)

« We must travel in the direction of our fears » (Berryman, John)

According to me, this quote sums up the whole underlying interest of my gap year (or of any travel generally speaking). Of course if one decides to go in a foreign country, the aim is to meet people with another culture, to discover new places and also to improve your language skills. However I think that a year-long travel experience should be the occasion to learn more about me and to surpass myself. All the things I will go through during one year will hopefully make me become more independent and resourceful.
A gap year is not a random trip : you leave your family and friends for a very long time and it is very important to be prepared to it. Even though I do not usually have homesickness when I am abroad, this experience is going to be different because it will be harder to see my family since I have to work. Indeed I will not be able to come back really often. This is probably the only “real” disadvantage of such an experience. Of course I am not saying that I am not going to miss my family but I hope that I will be able to see this difficulty as a challenge. Maybe it will be hard some days and I will probably miss my entourage but I think that the more important is also to see how much I will gain culturally speaking.

One of my main apprehensions about this travel is its preparation. Of course if it is only about things such as clothes you can still manage to come back on your free time or ask someone to send it where you live. I am more anxious concerning all the documents such as identity card, European health insurance card… But this is of course is the kind of part of a travel that you check many times before you leave.

There is also an important point which I have been thinking about a lot : the budget. I have to calculate the amount of money I will need to travel (for the planes, coaches, taxis), the activities I will do during my free-time or with the kids I am taking care of, and of course the unforeseen events. So I have to think about this because when you travel, lack of money is probably one of the most contrarious problems you can meet. Of course I will be paid by the families but this money may not allow me to do whatever I want depending on my needs.

Question #4: Question about very.co.uk and its credit agreement and buy now pay later?

Ok my first question is not really a question, just for someone to confirm what I'm saying is right.

Say I was to buy a PS3 for £280 out of my credit limit of £750 on buy now pay 12 months later. As long as I payed the £280 in full before 12 months is up would I not be charged a penny in interest?

Secondly, my main question is about the credit agreement. I have a limit of £750 and I just don't get the terms and conditions. Now before I purchase anything I'd like to know what I'm getting into. What I'm agreeing to. Are there any other charges, such as monthly charges for this credit limit or isit all free??

I read somewhere and I quote "The minimum payment due for each 4 week statement period will be shown on each statement. The minimum payment on current balances will be £5 or 7% whichever is greater or the full current balance if less than £5. You may pay more if you wish to do so. Any insurance premiums due or default charges described below will be payable in addition to the minimum payment described above."

What does this mean? Does this mean I have to deposit £5 every month into my account?? I'm really confused.
Can someone walk me through the risks of using this credit to purchase items? What charges will I incur, if any. Am I agreeing to monthly payments that I must fulfil? I'm really confused. Thankyou.

Question #5: Why are my car insurance quotes so high?

Hi, I'm 27 with a full CLEAN UK driving licence and keep getting ridiculously high car insurance quotes. Now before anyone says I DO understand the car I would like is a "high risk" car but I think the fact Ive been driving accident free since 2001 (when i passed) with no claims points convictions whatsoever and 6 years no claims I should be doing better than this. The car Im trying to insure is a Mitsubishi Evolution FQ320 and cant get a quote below £2000!! I have a friend who is a few days younger than me (so nothing in it) with identical details and regularly gets quotes for the same vehicle below £1400!!! I cant see why this is. Ive tried changing my postcode to his (for the purpose of seeing if this is the difference) to no avail. Adding responsible family members as named drivers who i would legitimately allow to also use the vehicle...no difference. I almost feel like the insurance companies are picking on me for some reason? Can anyone shed any light as to what I could do to make this situation better and why this seems to be the case? Thanks in advance!
The car WILL be for Social only (I walk to work) and IS in a locked garage day and night!! I work in a garage as does my friend....we are same age driving same length...?? Tried using his postcode?! Dont get it
